About AlarmTimer

AlarmTimer is a small collection of tools for time: a timer, stopwatch, Pomodoro timer, world clock, exact time and countdown — the things you reach for once a day, without pop-ups or sign-ups.

Why we built it

There are plenty of online timers, but come back from another tab and many of them have rung late or counted down too little. Browsers throttle hidden tabs, and almost nobody explains that. AlarmTimer follows three principles:

• Be accurate — calculate from the finish time and schedule alarms in advance, so they ring on time in background tabs.
• Be honest — tools that measure, like Exact Time, show their measurement error instead of hiding it.
• Stay light — no accounts; your settings and records stay in your browser.

Who runs it

AlarmTimer is run by JK Solution, a small software business in South Korea. Running costs are covered by ads (Google AdSense), placed so they never cover the clock or the buttons. Bug reports and ideas are welcome via Contact.
